It’s kind of sad to say goodbye
When I know that no matter how much I talk myself into it,
I’m still going to miss you

It’s kind of sad to stop believing
Even though I know you could never keep your promises
I’m still going to trust you

It’s kind of sad to let you go
‘Cause coming second place just isn’t worth the distance
I’m still going to hold you close

It’s kind of sad that it’s come to this
But the saddest thing isn’t that I don’t want you anymore, it’s that you made the choice for me.

I'm still going to love you.

It's just like you said: kind of sad... =(

I've been thru that kind of things with my best friend too... in the end, we remained together... but the wounds didn't close that easy...

The last time we we're arguing at his home and i realized then that we were hurting each other... so, with some tears in my eyes (really bad things were said that day), i ran away to my home... i couldn't even look at him, but i still missed him...

that's why i feel so like that poem sometimes...

Aw, I love it when people can tell me why they relate so much :) Makes that tiny bit of difference.

Yeah, it's one of my best friends too, and they keep denying that there's a problem, but we're just screwing with eachothers heads if we keep this up.

yeah that's happenining with my best friend and another friend. I think the other friend isn't mature enough to deal with the problem. so she picks and chooses when she wants to be friends with my best friend. and its hurts when she does that b/c it affects me too. she'll refuse to talk to my best friend and act all snobby-ish and rude when the two are together in public, like at this cook out i had with my friends a month ago. she pulled that stunt and even my parens saw it and thoguh it was rude..... but what can you do? talking to her isn't helping........
